Christmas Break in AZ

Over Christmas break (yes, that is how long it has been since I have uploaded pictures) Sparky and I spent most of our time finishing up adoption paperwork. Oh, who am I kidding. I filled out the paperwork and told Sparky when his doctor appointment and fingerprinting apointments were going to be and where to go. The hardest part of getting everything ready was getting Sparky to focus long enough to sign all the papers and gathering enough photos for our biography.
My family was very willing to help us out at Christmas. I beleive I already posted about that. I can't really remember. It was a long time ago.
Anywho, we had to travel all the way to Arizona to get more pictures with Sparky's family. :o) We spent our Christmas in Arizona this year. Sparky's parents are spending winter there this year in Sun City.
If you didn't know, Sun City is a planned retirement community. Someone in your household must be 55 or older for you to live there. Because of this there are a ton of recreation centers and planned activies.
Sparky's parents' house has two orange trees in the backyard and overlooks a golf course.
We hijacked the poor neighbor man and forced him to take photos of us. He was a good sport.
Here are the patio photos:
Before we took these were the cactus photos:

And here is Sparky laughing at something funny. Probably me. I am hilarious.
We were so despirate for photos of us all together we even forced several waiters to take photos while we ate!
Aparently we only like to eat at places with checkered table cloths... hmmm.

We had a lot of fun while we were there. I think I spent two days straight just sitting in the best lounge chair ever created (The cushon has inner spring coils! Like a mattress!) reading my book. Obviously I enjoyed the book. It is called Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Very good book.
While we were out there we took a field trip, which is the subject for the next post...

Looks like nice weather for a Christmas trip! :)

We had to "force" some of the photos for our profile... it made me feel a little weird... but we needed the pics!
